Church Mission
The mission of the Lytchett Matravers Methodist Church is to bring the good news of Jesus to the community.
meets on alternate Wednesdays in school term. It is an after school club for 7-11 year olds which has messy Church elements with Bible teaching often using DVDs. At the end of each term the parents of the children and Church members are invited to a short service of worship – in SPLAT style of course!
Coffee Mornings – are held each Wednesday morning (10am-1130am) – for coffee and chat!
Bible Study – this is held on Tuesday evenings at a member’s house
Churches Together – This is active in the village in partnership with the Anglican Church and
the Lighthouse Church. Various events are organised during the year with two united services held
each year in the Village Hall. These take place in early July and a Christmas Service in early
December.
